University of East Capital Signs Cooperation Agreement with the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Cairo

In a step aimed at strengthening educational ties and supporting access to higher education for Arab youth, the University of East Capital (UEC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Embassy of the State of Palestine in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Ayman Diab, President of the University of East Capital, and Ambassador Nagi Al-Nagi, Acting Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Egypt, in the presence of Salim Al-Talouli, University Affairs and Student Activities Officer at the Cultural Affairs Department.

Academic & Financial Facilitations

The cooperation aims to provide Palestinian students with a comprehensive range of academic and financial facilitations, helping ease the challenges they face in pursuing their university education in Egypt. Palestinian students must first complete the required admission procedures through the Study in Egypt platform, in accordance with the regulations and requirements announced by the Central Administration for International Student Affairs.

Shared Commitment to Educational Access

The agreement reflects the shared commitment of UEC and the Embassy of the State of Palestine to facilitating access to quality higher education and expanding educational opportunities for Palestinian students across different academic disciplines.

Campus Facilities & Medical Simulation Center Tour

Following the signing ceremony, the Palestinian delegation toured the University of East Capital's campus, including the newly inaugurated Medical Simulation Center, smart classrooms, and clinical training units. The delegation observed state-of-the-art interactive training systems, including the ALEX Gen AI patient communication simulator and pediatric simulation labs designed to give healthcare students clinical experience aligned with international best practices.

Available Faculties at UEC

The University of East Capital currently comprises four accredited faculties:

  • Faculty of Medicine
  • Faculty of Physical Therapy
  • Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology
  • Faculty of Economics and Business Administration

Introductory Meeting for Palestinian Students

As part of the cooperation, the two parties agreed to organize an introductory meeting for Palestinian students, offering students and their families an opportunity to learn more about UEC, its faculties, academic programs, and available opportunities.
