Refund Policy

University of East Capital Tuition and Fees Refund Policy

1. Registration Fees

All application fees, registration deposits, and administrative fees required to set up a new applicant profile or secure a place in any faculty are non-refundable under any circumstances.

2. Tuition Fee Refunds

Students who wish to withdraw from their faculty enrollment must submit a formal withdrawal request to the Admissions Office. Refunds on official tuition installments are calculated according to the academic calendar schedule:

  • Withdrawal before the official start of the academic semester: 100% refund of the paid tuition installment (less administrative charges).
  • Withdrawal within the first 2 weeks of the semester: 50% refund of the paid tuition installment.
  • Withdrawal after the 2nd week of the semester: No refund is applicable for the current semester tuition.

3. Processing of Approved Refunds

Approved refunds are credited back to the initial payer's bank account or paid via check. Transaction fees incurred during payment processing through online services (e.g. FawryPay payment gateway transaction percentages) are deducted from the final refund amount.

4. Scholarship Adjustments

If a student qualifies for a scholarship after tuition fees have been paid, the excess balance will be credited to the student's next installment plan or semester fees, unless a refund is explicitly approved by the finance department.
